Taylor Farms is seeking a skilled and motivated individual to join our team as a Refrigeration Technician. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the safe and energy-efficient operation of our refrigeration equipment. Must have a thorough understanding of ammonia refrigeration systems, possess strong communication and organizational skills, and thrive in a fast-paced environment. This position is based out Yuma, AZ.

Responsibilities:

• Operate refrigeration equipment in a safe and energy-efficient manner.
• Perform preventative and predictive maintenance tasks on refrigeration systems.
• Troubleshoot and repair electrical and mechanical components of refrigeration systems.
• Identify areas of improvement and implement solutions to enhance efficiency.
• Collaborate effectively with team members to achieve common goals.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and equipment performance.
• Bilingual Spanish is preferred.

Qualifications:

• 5 years of experience in a similar role, with a strong understanding of ammonia refrigeration systems.
• Proven ability to troubleshoot and repair electrical and mechanical components.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and collaborate effectively with team members.
• Availability for night and weekend.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $69,000.00 - $72,000.00 per year
